EDDY CURRENT TESTING
Use of inducted magnetic fields to detect defects in metal products or thickness of non-metallic coatings on metal products. Different techniques include surface probes, bolt hole probes, bobbin coils to inspect internal tubing products and encircling coils to inspect external tubing products.
RADIOGRAPHY
X-rays or Gamma Rays are induced through products to detect defects by producing images on film or computers that can be used to see if there are any non-standard breaks in the image continuity.
